DESCEND INTO AN UNDERGROUND LOUNGE
Bringing you back to East Village’s legendary nightlife scene
A blend of old and new, high-end and gritty, our mix of bars, restaurants, and lounges are a love letter to the gamut of vibes and flavors that run through East Village.
Featuring a bar, a lounge, café, and an outdoor terrace with a communal atmosphere, Alphabet Bar & Café d’Avignon Popup at Alphabet Café is the perfect spot to work by day and mingle by night. The artist-friendly café serves up handcrafted, just-how-you-like it coffee blends, fresh-from-the-oven pastries, and savory snacks. One level down sits Cathédrale, a heavenly French-Mediterranean fusion restaurant with a grand dining room that harkens back to the days of old New York. A monumental wire mesh sculpture by artist Edoardo Tresoldi evokes the long-lost Neoclassical interior of the Fillmore East concert hall. Dip into the underground to discover what lies beneath—Little Sister, a velvet-clad, dimly lit haunt for drinking and dancing the night away. Rising above it all is a low-key rooftop bar with a house-party vibe, evocative of East Village’s alleyway-style backyards.
Reminiscent of New York’s grand, classic dining rooms, Cathédrale brings elemental cooking and a poised French-Mediterranean sense of hospitality to its striking setting. Under soaring, triple-height ceilings and a monumental wire-mesh sculpture, Fillmore, by Italian artist Edoardo Tresoldi, Executive Chef Jason Hall delivers pure, ingredient-driven flavors.

Slip into the underground and dive into unknown pleasures. Dimly lit and velvet-laced, our intimate lower- level cocktail lounge is a sultry and seductive trip back to the heyday of East Village’s tempting lounge scene. Cushy banquettes, vintage- inspired custom chandeliers by a local artist, a copper-clad bar, psychedelic lighting, and scantily clad servers all add to the mysterious, you-had-to-be-there vibe.
